Paste two CSVs and see exactly what changed additions, removals, and modifications highlighted in real time. Everything runs in your browser your data never leaves your device.
Load two CSVs and click Compare to see differences
Three simple steps to compare your CSV files.
Paste or upload your original CSV into panel 1 and the modified version into panel 2.
Choose a key column for row matching or select columns to ignore during comparison.
See color-coded differences at a glance, then copy or download the diff report.
A CSV diff tool compares two comma-separated value files and identifies every difference between them added rows, removed rows, and cells that have changed. Instead of manually scanning spreadsheets line by line, the tool highlights exactly what changed so you can review changes in seconds.
This tool processes everything locally in your browser. Your CSV data is never uploaded to any server, making it safe for confidential datasets like financial records, customer lists, or medical data.
Track data changes
See exactly what rows or values changed between two versions of a dataset.
Save time on audits
Automatically surface differences instead of manually comparing rows.
Validate imports
Verify that a CSV import or transformation produced the expected output.
Compare team updates
See what different team members changed in shared CSV datasets.
Paste your original CSV into the first panel and the modified version into the second panel. Optionally choose a key column to match rows by, then click Compare. Differences are highlighted with color coding green for additions, red for removals, and yellow for changes.
When you select a specific column, the tool uses its values as keys to match rows between the two CSVs. Rows with the same key are compared cell by cell. Rows with keys only in one file are flagged as added or removed. Leave it on "All columns" for a simple line-by-line comparison.
Yes. Use the "Ignore columns" multi-select to pick columns that should be excluded from the comparison. This is useful when certain columns like timestamps or IDs change between exports but are not meaningful for your diff.
The comparison is exact and case-sensitive by default. You can adjust settings to ignore whitespace, column order, or case differences. The tool reports added, removed, and changed rows with their row numbers.
